Main River, Brook and Mill Pool
This venue is located between Ashbourne and Rocester. We have 500 yards of single bank fishing on the Staffordshire bank upstream of the Road bridge.
The fishing here is excellent for brown trout and grayling with the occasional rainbow trout. The lower part of the section is characterised by steady glides and deeper pools while the top is faster with riffles.
A Small brook links the Mill pool to the river and Trout and grayling can be found in the deeper holes and eddies.
The Mill Pool at the at the top of the brook is currently very silted up and in need of restoration.
