Update Barton & Walton Pool Improvements

The contractor is progressing well with the works, the roadway resurfacing and repairs are completed other than a final tidy up as they leave. The pegs on the railway bank have been lowered and most have the shuttering in place to concrete the new steps. The concreting is taking place on Tuesday 10th June, there will be no access to the pool on this day. Work is expected to be completed by 13th June.

We have also been there with the mower cutting the paths around the pool.

Steps down to the pegs on the railway bank are now complete as is the track and the path and sloped access through the wooded area. New gates are to be fitted to increase security.
