At Tutbury we have 1.25 miles of single bank fishing on the Derbyshire bank.
This area of the river is well known for its specimen barbel and chub, double figure barbel and chub to 6lbs are not uncommon. Dace, perch, trout, and grayling are also present.
In the middle of the section is Tutbury weir below which there are good pools and riffles providing good varied fishing opportunities for all species. Above the weir are some slower and deeper sections.

Access is via Scropton Old Rd with bankside parking available at the downstream limit of the section. This parking is courtesy of Nottingham Piscatorials and is for a maximum of 6 cars.
Our fishing starts from the field upstream of the parking area.
