This is on the opposite bank from the Crown bend and runs downstream past the concrete apron near the site of the former Cavendish bridge, through a wooded section under the A6 and on to the Shardlow Marina mouth, all species (including zander) are present along this section.
Carrying on downstream from the marina mouth to our bottom boundary this once very popular and productive section is rarely fished these days due to the development of the marina.
From the former Shardlow Brewery wall downstream to behind Glazebrooks Pool this is a highly productive section, particularly in Club matches. During the season this section produces specimen fish of most species.
This section runs from behind Glazebrooks Pool downstream to our bottom boundary behind the Silt Pool, the river here is deep and slow here with parking available behind most of the pegs. All species are present here including some very large specimens.
