Triangle Pool – Sawley

The Triangle Pool is 7 acres and is approximately 10-12ft deep. It is a mature mixed fishery holding a small head of carp 20-25lbs, a large population of tench for which the pool is well noted for locally. During 2001 two specimen tench of 8lb2oz and 8lb12oz were caught. Also present are a good head of roach, bream, rudd and pike. Access to the pool is from a residential street, which forms a dead end at the poolside. Entry to the pool carpark is then through a locked gate, please do not fish from the car park.
